Physical hazards

These include vibrations, noises, slips, and machine accidents.

Chemical Hazards

These hazards should be usually taken care of in laboratories. Hazards such as radiations, chemical accidents and other corrosive substances.

 

Ergonomic Hazards

These are the most serious hazards and the most common in workplaces. They are mainly physical factors such as poor posture, improper adjustments of chairs and tables, too-much use of force, and vibration.                   

Biological Hazards

Biological hazards include mold, fungi , blood, body fluids, sewage, bacteria, infections, insects etc. These need to be taken seriously as they affect the body directly.

The above mentioned hazards are the most common ones found at workplaces. They need to be under supervision.
